[en]PARASITE signifies for us a change of attitude. It means to refer to the project from “above”. We are interested in the conflict between old and new and not in the integration of the design through materials and details. We believe that exactly this conflict could generate a different type of spatiality. We are not interested in the forms of “correct architecture” because we want to make a further leap. Architecture has to start to shape space in a different way, details must be seen in a contemporary fashion, they have to complete space instead of being the generators for architecture and theme. The lack of details of the contemporary buildings must be understood as a change of architectural attitude, architecture has not grown poorer but has become something different.

[ro]PARASITE inseamna pentru noi o schimbare de atitudine. Inseamna o abordare “de sus” a proiectului. Ne intereseaza conflictul creat intre vechi si nou si nu integrarea prin materialitate si detalii. Credem ca tocmai acest conflict poate genera un alt tip de spatialitate. Nu ne intereseaza “arhitectura corecta” pentru ca incercam sa mai facem un pas. Arhitectura trebuie sa inceapa sa modeleze spatiul intr-un alt fel, detaliul trebuie inteles la modul contemporan, trebuie sa completeze spatiul si nu sa fie generator al arhitecturii si al temei. Lipsa detaliilor cladirilor contemporane trebuie vazuta ca o schimbare a atitudinii arhitecturale, arhitectura nu a devenit mai saraca ci este altceva.
