The object are generally defined by their function, thus we intend to make a functional, formal, structural analysis of the objects and their historical evolution. To answer these questions: How are the objects lived? What is the process through which people interact with them? Studying the speaking system of objects, mainly the system of semnifications less or more coherent they instaurated? What’s happening with the objects as they are produced, consumed, own and personalized?

The SHADOW artefacts are all frontier objects, able to mediate between the two proposed spaces: the new space, of evolution, and the old one, of the memory. They are passing objects between the two worlds. A lost space cannot be reconstructed, nor is it in our intention. What we do aim for is to negotiate the limits, to reconfigure them, to tell their tale and trace their journey. In the exhibition, these objects invite to meditation and reconciliation, first and foremost with ourselves.
