[en]The pavilion is thought as being a simple gesture, natural in a dense context. For generating a beacon in a crossing node of the scale of the Victoriei Square, we didn't design an object but a stage. We folded the stage in order to generate a vertical dynamic and thus we generated the amphitheater pavilion that strives to gather the people walking by. We count on the daily passengers to participate in the spatial modeling of the place. Thus we marked a graphic sign on the existing pavement texture for leading the pedestrians. The directional stripe along Kiseleff road encounters the pedestrians and leads them towards the pavilion. The stripe can be a bicycle lane in the scenario of the pavilion becoming a rental point for bicycles in the Bucharest network. Also for the space between the pavilion and the park, we used a graphic highlighting that delimits the space and organizes it, transforming it into a host for events. Although this space is not a part of the pavilion, it completes it. We believe that only by using in a maximal manner the defining elements of the place we can make this pavilion to be truly functional.
