The concept of the intervention is based on creating a septic support that shall communicate the idea of precision, using a simple binary chromatic scheme, based on dark grey and white.

The concept of intervention in the urban space is based on a reorganization that keeps track of the character of the existing areas, in relation with the optimal functions that it can meet.The areas of the grid become different supports for the activities of the community, and the existing green areas are kept and integrated in the new configuration.

The main concept of remodeling the urban space is looking to reestablish equilibrium between the inhabitants of the area and the automobile circulation on site. The primary objective is that the population regains its rights to use the surrounding urban space and to reconfigure it in order to allow the people to have a maximized accessibility and use upon it.

The project aims the requalification of an urban area and of some free spaces from the social housing complex comprised in the area Tiburtino III in Rome.

The design proposal started from generating a completely black box, as well as a shape and as a concept, an abstract space that doesn’t breathe towards the outside world but keeps locked within the memory of events.
